How would a Tug of war between a Cummins diesel pickup and a Big rig turn out?
Details: Dodge Cummins 4x4 dually tractor pulling truck, super modified for 1,600 Hp and who knows how much torque (maybe 3,000 Lb ft) -Vs- Big Rig diesel (bobtail) stock with 550 Hp and super low end torque (maybe 1,500 Lb ft)
Both trucks are in low gear.
This question is different. Also more detailed.
I believe the rig would take it based on it's immense mass and contact patch. Even without weight over the drive axels (on either vehicle) the rig is just so much heavier the contact pressure combined with alot more weight would alow it to put the power to the ground. A dually pickup, regardless of drivetrain, is just giving up way to much mass and traction. I doubt it would even be able to move the rig if all brakes were locked, the pickup would simply spin the tires.
