Curtain length? How far from the floor should a curtain be on an average size double hung window in a bedroom?
Should the rod be installed even with the top of the window woodwork or at a different height? the curtains are lightweight material.
If the curtains are going to be "floor length", they need to be close to the floor. No more than an inch above it. Any higher and they have that "flood pants" look. Hang the rod wherever it looks best, but a height which either completely shows or completely hides any woodwork is best. You need a second person to stand back and see how the rod height looks from out in the room where you would be most likely to see the the rod.
