Cement Breaking And Concrete Cutting

The two most common ways to break cement are either using a sledgehammer or a jack hammer. However these two ways require a lot of extensive manual effort.
The first step to breaking cement is to determine where you need to break the concrete. Determine the general area and purpose for breaking the concrete. Different purposes may require different methods to break the concrete. Then, you should find out how thick the concrete is that needs to be broken. Depending upon the thickness of the concrete you can decide which equipment to use to break the cement. If it is something that is very thick, then an electric chopper might not be appropriate. Instead an electric breaker or pneumatic jackhammer would be better ideas.
After picking the appropriate tool to break the cement, mark the location of the portion that is to be broken. Then saw cut the edges of the area to be broken as deeply as possible with a demolition saw, or a grinder that has a dry cut diamond blade. Could i use plywood as a substitute to insulation bored in underfloor heating tiles?
i am going to install underfloor electric heating to my concrete floor. i was wondering if instead of using insulation boards can i use plywood. i am going to put floor tiles over the electric mat.
Plywood will not work. The foam board you'll have to use is at least 2" thick and rated at a minimum of 25 lbs per square foot. It needs to be rated at 25 lbs to keep from compressing under the weight of the concrete. This will give an R value of 10. The only other product that can be used is called double bubble insulation which is rolled out before the concrete is poured. This will work but is more costly.
