What can I do after buying a new house that has multiple defects?

Ok, so, we bought a house from one of the worst companies on earth, Lennar. We had multiple inspections done while the house was being built and when we moved in, but obviously, the county inspectors where I live are not very good at their jobs. We have had multiple places where water damage has occurred, horrible wood floor work, mold issues, almost 50 nail pops, crack in concrete, and many other problems. Are there any legal actions I can take beside enforcing the 1 year warranty? These problems have been stressing my family and I out for too long and need answers, preferably from a lawyer, but usually they charge. Can anyone in the Yahoo question community give me a serious, well informed answer on this topic? Poor construction and craftsmanship seems to common in America today, and if there isn't already, there needs to be laws in place to protect home builders like myself.

Right now all we here is it is a buyers market (and in most places it is). Price unfortunately becomes the most import issue. Not saying this is the case in your situation but it could be. Builders know this so they build to keep the price down, and you usually get what you pay for. We have a huge problem with that in my area. People expect a new home to be perfect, as they should, but unfortunately quality construction costs money and you have to pay for it.
