Four screed teams install a sports hall of 630m2 of FlexiDry fast drying floor screed in one day

While the benefit would be an uninterrupted flat surface onto which the sports hall floor would be laid, warmed by a Warmafloor GB underfloor heating system, one of FlexiDry's approved contractors had to arrange for four screed teams to start work on site early to complete the task.

When finished in late 2010, the £5.3 million project will provide a sports pavilion and associated sports facilities for the London Borough of Redbridge, with dance studio, fitness suite, music centre, IT suite, large sports hall and all weather pitches for outdoor games.

It's a far cry from the early days. Frenford Boys Club was established in 1928 after a young man called Jack Carter, keen to provide a safe place for local children to play, asked for a room in a Quaker meeting house. By 1930 the club had grown into a sports and social club and now has over 300 members aged between 8 and 95 and provides facilities for twenty different sporting activities for those in the local community.

The playing fields that adjoin the new site will be shared with Cranbrook Primary and there are plans to develop a link with the school which would see club members helping in sports lessons for younger pupils.

Sports enthusiasts, coaches and P.E. teachers make up a large number of the more than fifty volunteers who run Frenford clubs. Club members, who have been involved in designing the new building, are eagerly anticipating the move to the new facility. Among famous sportsmen to have risen from early training at Frenford is England cricketer Ravinder Bopara, who was a member of the recent ICC World Twenty20 tournament winning squad.

FlexiDry is a low concentrated liquid additive that is simply added to a cementitious screed mix on site. Depending on the concentration added, FlexiDry transforms screed drying times with a choice of 7, 14 or 21 days.

In addition to reduced drying times, FlexiDry benefits include the ability to accept foot traffic after 12 hours of laying; improved compressive strength; and a reduced carbon footprint. Due to its high density and easy compaction FlexiDry is the perfect partner for underfloor heating systems.

What can i feed my 9 weeks old jack russell other than the dry dog food we give her?

also when can i feed her wet food? and when should i start cutting her nails? and also she needs so much attention all the time! i work from home so i'm here all day and its no problem playing with her but she whines all the time and makes me feel guilty by not playing with her! obviously i've never owned a dog. my husband brought her home as a third member of our family and i'm just so clueless! he has had one before but he's not here all the time and i am. we do walk her together once in the morning and again at night. is there anything i should know about jack russell's? she is a sweetheart though.

Here's a good start to get to know your Jack Russel. http://www.dogbreedinfo.com
Now as far as feeding anything besides puppy food, I wouldn't do that for a long time, a few months. No need to give wet food. It's usually full of junk and just makes them poop diarrhea and then they won't eat their kibble.
Since you are new to dog ownership, there are some things you can do. First of all, there are many different kinds of dog food. Read the labels. If you puppy food kibble has corn, meat by-product, wheat, gleuten or soy in it, that usually means it's not the healthiest food. Purina, Iams, Science Diet or Anything from Walmart or grocery stores is junky food and will give your dog the itchies or the poops alot when older.
Go to petco and try to get a good quality food. Some good names in puppy food are Wellness (our fave) Just for Puppy, Solid Gold, Innova (but usually too rich), Natural Balance, Avoderm, Eagle Pack holistic, Chicken soup for the dog lover's soul. Ask them at the store about the differences. There are BIG differences. You get what you pay for. http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com Pick 4 or 5 star food.
It's great that you work from home. But you need to teach your little girl that it's not great to disturb you while you are working. So, when you work, you can put her in a nice crate with a doggie bed in it for her naps. She'll balk at first but then if you are consistent, she'll get the hang of it. She should also sleep in there at nite in your room with a towel over it with a small hole so she can see you.
Potty train for outside and do not use puppy pads inside. They only confuse the pup and make it think that it's ok to go inside. You have to train outside eventually, so do it while young. I'd also get enrolled in puppy class at petco or petsmart. It would do you and your pup a world of good and get that bonding process started. They can also answer lots of questions you have every week. Believe me, every week is different with a pup so you'll have lots of questions.
It's great that you have her walking on a leash twice a day, keep it up. You can start her with obedience commands and teaching tricks now and continue in puppy class. The most important commands are sit, "leave it" in case your pup wants to put something in her mouth that she shouldn't have ie: a pill. The same thing with "drop it" in case she gets the pill, you tell her to "drop it'. They'll teach you all this and you practice at home.
Make sure you get a good vet that you trust and have her examined and get all her puppy shots and her dog license. Whatever you do, just do not ever hit her or rub her nose in an accident. Make sure you take her out lots and reward with treats and lots of play when she does her business outside. You'll learn to know her signs as to when she has to do business. Watch her closely so you can catch it.
Jack Russels are great dogs that require lots of exercise and time but they do great with people who love them and care about them.
Good luck and you'll do fine. She sounds like a loved dog and I wish you many many years (at least 15) with her.
