plastic storage box as a mini pond?
if i sink a storage box in the ground could this work as a container pond? how big should it be? any advice is helpful.
No i do not want fish, but i would like to encourage frogs
I dont think that kind of container is a good plastic as it is rigid and brittle you wither want something like pond liner which you can buy by the metre from hardwares chains like B&Q or your local nursery. An aunt of mine had a large enamel bowl sunk which lasted and also something of the more soft plastic like a baby bath but I think the pond liner is probably best then you can engineer sloping side for the frogs to get out and stones to hide in away from cats.
