What can i use for a clutch on a 10hp Briggs&Stratton engine?
I've got a go-kart project that has a 10hp Briggs&Stratton engine using a centrifugal clutch to drive a harley gearbox, and then to the rear axle. I want to switch to a clutch more like the motorcycles use, but i can NOT switch engines, so either how do i add a clutch to the motor's 1" output shaft to then be able to control engagement of its power to the transmission, or is there a motorcycle-type transmission out there that has the clutch built into it (rather than having a clutch on the motor)?

I would prefer a cable-actuated clutch rather than electronically, and have no belts involved anywhere, only preferably motorcycle chain for durability sake.
I am NOT looking for torque converters or centrifugal clutches.
