My bloch pointe shoes shank is too hard?
So i've had these bloch pointes for about two months now. There my first pointe shoes.
They're pretty much broken in but im not too sure.
I cant get over my shank especially on my right pointe shoe. ( which is ment to be strongest foot)
Also, I've been having problems standing completely straight with my knees locked on pointe.
I asked my friends if their legs are completely straight on pointe and they said yes. They are both beginners. I just cant seem to stand completely straight with my legs locked in. They have to be at least a little bent but when i stand normally on flat my legs arent completely straight either.
Is there a way to soften the shank or should i break them in more or should i just get new pointes?
My shoes are bloch european balance.

just break them in more. so so so many people have that same problem with their first pointe shoes. being completely on the box is hard especially for beginners. sometimes people find it naturally easy, like maybe your friends, but some people don't.
for your first shoes, it seems like blochs are a little too hard. work on breaking them in more and just keep working as hard as you can and trying to straighten your legs.
for your next shoes though i suggest getting them fitted professionally and trying a shoe that is softer. maybe chacotts or grishkos.
i have bad feet and it was always hard for me to stay on the box and i've been very happy wearing grishko 2007. so maybe try those?
when you get new shoes tell the person that you wore blochs and you don't like them and that you want to try something else.
really though, all it sounds like is normal first pointe shoes problems. as you get better en pointe you will have less of a problem
