Watch cases need to be handled carefully while work is being carried out on them in order to avoid damage due to scratching etc. For this purpose, case cushions are found to be very useful. The Bergeon 5394 superior casing cushion comes as a felt pad having a hollowed centre which is held in place by a metal ring. The cushion has a diameter of 53 mm and a height of 13 mm. It is covered with a stamoid which is a non-scratch synthetic material to protect glass. This casing cushion has many uses – it is used to case and un-case watch movements, for loosening screws etc. It is also used to open and shut cases. One more similar model from Bergeon is the 5394-P casing cushion which also has the same functionality as the 5394 model.
The Top Quality Case cushion is the best tool to keep watch cases safe while working as it comes with a padded non slip top. It also has a felt, non slip base for additional safety. The pad has a hollow centre and is included within a metal retaining ring. The Top Quality extra large case cushion is a cost effective, high quality case cushion that provides the safety required for out sized watch cases. It is made of felt pad and has a hollowed centre and this too has a stamoid covering to protect glass. This cushion comes with a non slip base and measures 78 mm in diameter and 16 mm in height.
With the Bergeon 2681 glass observation mirror, it is possible for watch makers to view both sides of a watch movement as work is being carried out on them. The observation mirror is made of toughened glass and is very useful during watch repair for both professionals as well as hobbyists. The Bergeon 6820 watch bezel remover is a case tool that is used to safely extract bezels without scratching the watch case. This tool has 3 adjustable clamping jaws and is made of hardened, tempered steel. It can handle diver type and rotating bezels with diameters ranging from 27 mm to 45 mm.
Bergeon 1104 watch makers case back brush is used to clean case backs and case rims. The bristle strength can be soft to very hard. It has four rows of white bristles and a wooden handle. The brush has Glasgow quality, measures 270 mm, is heavy duty and robust in nature. The Bergeon 6377 case back brush also has the same features as the 1104 model. The bristles range from soft to very stiff. It has a length of 260 mm and good quality bristles with four close rows.

What kind of tool breaks windows in case of emergency?
None of our downstairs windows open so I am looking for a small tool that I can hang inside each window in case of an emergency. I have children and I cringe at the thought of there being a house fire and my kids not being able to get out safely. I have seen the tools that you keep in a car that break the windows and can cut a seat belt but is there something smaller for household windows?
