What preparation needs to be done on bare land to be able to live in a park model trailer?
I have water and it will be fairly easy to get electric but is there a way to attach the septic to a holding tank until I can afford something more permanent? I need to do it as low cost as possible, maybe a holding tank on a pallet i can use the tractor to load on my truck and dump? Open to ideas!

Have you done a "perc test" on your land yet? Because, if your property will pass the standard perc test, conventional septic systems AREN'T all that expensive! From what you say, it sounds like you already own the septic tank itself (which IS a holding tank) so it sounds to me like, rather than pay to dig and install leach lines like you're supposed to do, you want to hook it up to a "holding tank" that you can dump yourself! That's just GROSS! Problem is, my friend....God ONLY knows where you'd end up DUMPING it!
So here are some IDEAS for you:
1. We don't live in the rice patties of a 3rd world country!
2. There are SANITATION laws to protect us from feces-transmitted diseases and PEOPLE like you.
3. If you can't afford a legal septic system...how about SAVING UP FOR ONE...BEFORE you move into your park model trailer?
4. If you don't do #3, every county I know of can legally run you off of your land or fine you heavily until you come into compliance with their laws.
